The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has issued a notification regarding the scrutiny and disposal of unfair means/misconduct cases in the Secondary School Examination (10th Class) for the Annual/Regular session of 2023. The board has identified certain candidates who are alleged to have resorted to the use of unfair means or misbehavior during the examinations.
In an official statement released by the JKBOSE, it has been directed that the concerned candidates from both Soft Zone and Hard Zone areas of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir must present themselves before the Committee for scrutiny and disposal of unfair means/misconduct cases. The candidates are requested to appear strictly as per the following schedule at the Office Chambers of the Joint Secretary, Secrecy, JD, located in Rehari Colony, Jammu.
The notification further states that the candidates are expected to bear their own expenses for the hearing, and it is crucial for them to be present to defend themselves against the charges leveled against them. Failure to appear before the committee will result in the assumption that the candidates have nothing to say in their defense. In such cases, the decision taken by the Sub-Committee based on available records and reports will be considered final and binding.
